King O'Dell Saint Patrick's Day Tablescape

A happy Saint Patrick's Day to All!   And a great big thank you to Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen's for hosting her 7th annual Saint Patrick's Day Blog Crawl.  All year I have collected little things here and there to put together a post for this occasion and today I get to see how my thrifty finds all come together.  The centerpiece is made from a basket I found this morning at the Volunteers of America Thrift store,  a wee Irish lass and her lovely harp also from the VOA, shamrock plants from Marc's (my favorite closeout store, and yellow   primrose from The Home Depot (4 plants for $3.00) plus a few odds and ends from the stash.

The tablecloth is actually a four yard piece of material from Goodwill in a lovely hunter green plaid pattern.  The dinnerware is the King O'Dell pattern made by Taylor Smith Taylor (a fine American made product), the flatware is Daffodil made by Rogers bought at auction from Goodwill, the Lillian Vernon shamrock placemats in the center of the table being used as a runner came from the Salvation Army Thrift Store,  the Lenox candle holders came from Goodwill, Candles from Marc's,  green stemware was thrifted but I don't remember where from,  the Lenox chargers were bought on Ebay (cheap) last year.  The green trimmed burlap napkins were bought last year when Pier One closed them out.  And my favorite - the cute little Jadiete bunny rabbit salt cellars were bought at the VOA this morning when I bought the baskets.

This little lady made her debut on my table last year.

Both the Saint Patrick figure and the Irish Angel came from Marc's a few years back.

I couldn't resist adding the little sheep to the table.
I fell in love with this lovely lady the first time I laid eyes on her.
What's not to love about this St. Patrick O'Santa figure.
His music box plays "When Irish Eyes are Smiling".

The shelves have been decked out with thrifty finds too.  Some are new (new to me that is) this year, some are from years gone by.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
