RICHARD GINORI MANIFATTURA DI LAVENO dinner plates sit upon Lenox charger plates and shamrock shaped salad bowls top the stack.
A hand embroidered tablecloth in fresh spring colors.
Lovely lasses dance with the wee lads and leprechauns
An old friend (my favorite lucky leprechaun) stands in a bed of faux green roses that are nestled into an old basket that has been spray painted with Rust-oleum's Oregano green paint.
Leprechaun's are playing all around the table.

Now, Just in case you are not tired of Saint Patrick's Day Tablescapes here is a link to my other tablescape celebrating Saint Patrick's Day *Meet Jimmy Joe at Our Saint Patrick's Day Party* .
Here are a couple of pictures of the Doll Party.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!
I will be sharing at:
That tablecloth and plates are wonderful. You really have a nice collection for St. Patrick's Day!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun table with all your cute Irish figures. Love the Ginori dishes. We have Ginori china that we selected when we married. I didn't know they made ironstone. Beautiful design. What a cute idea to have the doll party.
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day!
What a great find at your Good Will shop! Those plates are perfect for the occasion and I'm glad you "dug up" the shamrock bowls - wonderful dish stack. That tablecloth is such a pretty backdrop. The green goblets with shamrock napkins add just the right punch of green. Would love to sit at this table and have a closer look at all those cut figurines. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteOOh Candy I love this Irish table leave it to you the Thrifting Queen to find these wonderful plates .See you were destined to own them. You pulled together in such a maical way it really looks like the lassies and leprechauns are playing on you table. Did you get the tablecloth at a thrift store too? I wish I could find something like that.Love Susie

DeleteSusie, I found the tablecloth at the Volunteers of America Thrift Store quite a few years ago. I Used it for a Saint Patrick's day tablescape I four years ago. The Water goblets were the only thing that I bought new (from Marc's for 2 for $99 cents)I am thinking to use this tablecloth again this year for an Easter Table. I am very pleased about the plates I found and they will be in another tablescape later in the spring I think.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saint Patrick's Day,
Hugs,
Candy
Beautiful tablescape Candy. Love all of your details. The dishes are so beautiful as well. I love love love your basket. I am a basket person. So nice that you included your cute little guests. Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful job, Candy. My mom loved Richard Ginori dishes. I love the embroidered runner.
ReplyDeleteThe Richard Ginori dishes were a new name to me. After I did a little research on them I am wondering why I had never crossed paths with them before. They are beautiful quality, and beautiful designs.
DeleteI love your new dishes - I wouldn't have been able to resist either! Love all your pretty Irish goodies!
ReplyDeleteSomeone put a few hours into that beautiful tablecloth. What a great deal on the basket weave plates! They will look nice for a summer table, too.
ReplyDeleteI am loving your little leprechaun centerpiece.
Happy SPD ♣
Oh my gosh, Candy! I love this tablescape. Vintage is my choice, always, before new, and those basketweave plates were the very first thing that caught my attention. I agree with you - those are some of the prettiest green & yellow plates I've seen (and my happy color choices, too!). And do I spy MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check in the background?? Love that too. Happy St. Patrick's Day. This was my first time on Kathleen's blog crawl - what a way to jump into spring. I love all these tables!

I so love that centerpiece, Candy! The new dishes are gorge, too!!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, Candy, I love, love, love this table! Those Ginori plates are WONDERFUL!! What a find! You've complemented them perfectly with your chargers and shamrock bowls, perfect tablecloth ( I can't imagine what work went into creating it!) and your fantastic leprechaun figurines!! A wonderful table for celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Bravo!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeleteYou have so many wonderful St. Pat's Day things Candy, but the tablecloth was a show stopper for me! How fabulous! And of course I love the Courtly Check in the background! Happy St. Pat's Day!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Candy, I can't believe you got those Ginori plates for 65 cents each!!! This must be the best buy of the year! Your table is wonderful and you are certainly a dedicated tablescaper to dig out dishes at night! I'm glad you did! Linda
ReplyDeleteI love your table, but have to tell you that was completely knocked off balance by that tablecloth. I embroidered the exact same one when I was in high school! I gave it to my mother as a gift and, well, I guess she got rid of it before she passed away because I haven't seen it since. Wow, you really gave me the chills with this post (in a nice way).
ReplyDeleteOh my - so many lovely greens. The little leprechauns are so special - my favorite is the little guy with the tall hat. Everything goes together so beautifully and the new plates are absolutely perfect. The dolls look like they are having a good time too - wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteThe little leprechaun dude with the tall hat is my favorite too!
DeleteCandy, that is a wonderful table! I love the tablecloth and those plates...you must have had the luck of the Irish that day, they are beautiful! Thanks so much for doing the Blog Crawl. I am so glad I came out of moth balls to do it! :)
ReplyDeleteCandy,
ReplyDeleteSuch a festive tablescape! Love the dishes, the tablecloth and those sweet St. Patrick's figurines!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
I LOVE your dolls and their beautifully-set St. Patrick's Day table! Did you crochet that gorgeous doily?
ReplyDeleteHi, Candy! I'm so glad you revisited this table this year! Those Ginori dishes were such a find!! It was fun to see them again. I absolutely love this St. Patrick's table. I hope all is going well as we get into a new season. Take care. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
