Not Your Spooky Black and Orange Halloween Tablescape

Black and orange say Halloween to me.  When I was looking around the house to see what I could use for this Tablescape I came across a lot of items I had not used in years.  Like my brass candle holders and an old set of Mikasa Cappuccino china. The brass candelabras are now black candelabras. I did end up buying a few items but all in all not to bad.

The Cappuccino Plates have been around the house for a while, I feel pretty good that I am using them for this Halloween setting.  They are a a very dark brown/black trim on a nice cream white trimmed in gold. I used the coffee cups from this set too.  I don't usually do that (mostly because I usually don't have the matching coffee cups) but they seemed to fit in well with this setting.  The black wine glasses came from Marc's (our local close out store)as did the flatware and the rectangular plates holding the white pumpkins.
The black and orange plaid table cover is a fabric remnant from Jo Ann's.

Under the desert bowl is a paper plate from Jo Ann's.

The salad plates came from Goodwill last year, they were designed for WendoverLane .

There is another paper plate under the orange salad plate.

The Mikasa Cappuccino dinner plate looks lovely all by itself.
The dark ebony brown charger (nearly black) makes a nice compliment to the rest of the stack. The napkins and napkin rings are Goodwill finds.  The owl side plates are from Walmart.

A Halloween tree teaser.

Come back to visit soon.  There will be another Halloween tablescape this week And more pictures of the Halloween tree. I'll be looking forward to your visit.  Stay safe, and stay happy.

  10. Halloween being my preferred holiday over all the others, I had to take a look.
I have promised myself a month (or two) without thrift shopping, but your great finds make it hard for me to resist. I may make one quick browse.
Not today though as it is below zero and my car battery is dead. I will be satisfied to remain indoors and do my browsing online.
