First Sunshine Sunday Brunch For Fall

Fall is here!  Bring on the autumn leaves, the scarecrows, and the cornstalks. I'm almost ready!!!  My little friend standing in front of the fall welcome barn wanted to say hello... I'm here.  The air is crisp, at least for today.

The copper pumpkins have lined up on top of the china cabinet to say welcome fall.

The plates are set for the first Sunshine Sunday Brunch Breakfast table for fall.  It is still hard to let go of summer, but I thought a bright and cheerful table setting would help a lot. Do you see the rooster candle holders and the sunflower napkin rings?   I found them today at a garage sale for a dollar.

The entire table setting today with the exception of the wine glasses, the water glasses, and the berry bowls are either from goodwill or garage sales.

The charger is from a Goodwill auction.  It is marked Horchow - made in Italy.  I fell in love with the warm fall like colors and the architectural shape. I think they  add a nice dimension to the table setting.

The sunflower plate came from the Goodwill near where I work. They were not marked.  They were a dollar each.  There were twelve available, but I only bought four, much to my regret now.

The zinnia plates are Metlox Poppy Trail.  Another goodwill find.

The little green berry bowls came from Marc's.  Marc's is my favorite place to shop for closeouts.  I am there at least three times a week.  Every time I go there there is something that I want, either for the holidays or for a tablescape.

See the sunflower wine glass.....Marc's.

See the fall leaf water glass...... Marc's

Here's a better look at one of the sunflower napkin rings. they were 8 for a dollar at the garage sale I mentioned earlier. The sunflower tablecloth came from Goodwill.  Tablecloths are $2.00 at our Goodwill.

Fresh fall flowers are from our local grocery store. The container was also a Goodwill find.

I did go to the Home Goods Store today and I did buy a set of plates with beautiful fall leaves.  I actually found 8 of them at one store.  Wahoo!!! I didn't have to drive around to three stores to make a set.  I also stopped at Pier 1 and admired the lovely placemats and chargers (I love pretty chargers).  Some of them were totally gorgeous. But alas nearly twenty dollars each,  I don't think so.

Thank you for stopping by to visit.  I hope you liked my Sunshine Sunday Morning Brunch Tablescape.  Please come back soon.  I am looking forward to you visiting and staying awhile.  I think I will be making some blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. Yum!  Stay safe and stay happy.  See you soon.

I will be trying to link to Seasonal Sundays at the Tablescaper.   http://thetablescaper.blogspot.com/
I hope to see you there.

  5. You really put the sunshine into that Fall craving...
More than a beautiful tablescape full of oh-I-want-that-too pieces (I'd call dibs on the sunflower plates but don't want to mess with everyone that commented before I did ahahahah) you went and showed that Autumn can play with Summer.
Every year I think of planting some Sunflowers in the garden... maybe next year.
Thank you for sharing your creation. And a Happy Autumn at Plum Creek Place!

  10. OH sunflowers - I love them so. The plates are fabulous - I really really really want some. Love the yard sale prices, sad that our yard sale season is over for the year. I love Goodwill, and also we have Value Village - we have a huge one here and I've not been for a while - time for some shopping I think.
